2013: Planeta Azul Travel Mexico is established as our base of operations in Latin America
In all this time we’ve covered literally thousands of miles, across hundreds of expeditions to some of the most fascinating and remote places on Earth.
Planeta Azul Travel’s director Mikel is a dyed in the wool explorer with a true passion for incredible journeys and far flung places. With over 20 years of guiding experience, his travels have taken him across five continents and include a stint working for Endemol, one of the world’s most respected TV production companies, as well as presenting and directing a documentary series on Ethopia.
Silvia, Mikel’s co-director at Planeta Azul Travel Mexico, has over 20 years marketing experience, and shares our love for travel, experience and passion for the flora and fauna of this extraordinary world.
Our team is energetic, fun and passionate about our work designing the holiday of your dreams. Above all it’s our own experiences in the destinations we feature that allow us to create unique, tailored holidays that exceed expectations.
What unites us, and sums up our work, is a motto, originally written for us many moons ago by a Tanzanian friend in Swahili on one of Zanzibar’s white sand beaches: “Where there’s passion, there’s a path.” It’s exactly this passion that we share with all our fellow travellers.
