Planeta Azul currently designs journeys to two destinations on the European continent, Iceland and Norway. Both countries stand out for incredible natural phenomena, unforgettable landscapes and wealth of outdoors activities.

Iceland’s landscape is marked by fire and ice. Its geographical position in the far north makes for a unique blend of volcanic activity and frozen snowscapes. Almost 10 percent of the country is covered by ancient glaciers – seemingly never ending rivers of ice, whose snowmelt in the summer months creates spectacular waterfalls. And underneath it all, spectacular active volcanoes, that produce thermal springs and geysers.

Norway is one of the best places in the world to view the aurora borealis, the natural phenomenon that lights up the night sky with an incredible display, and is especially frequent in winter. Apart from skygazing, the country offers endless outdoor activities including dog-sledding, snowmobiling or hot-air balloon rides over the arctic.
