Indonesia
Taking in the Orangutans of the forests of Borneo, the awe inspiring temples of Prambanan and Borobudur in Java, and the harmonious beauty of Bali’s temples and picture postcard landscapes, the Indonesian archipelago is an experience unlike any other.
The jewel of South-East Asia
Starting out in the capital, Jakarta, you’ll fly to the Indonesian part of Borneo, boarding a traditional klotok barge to take you up river to the observation points, where you’ll be able to see orangutans in their natural habitat. From here, you’ll return to Indonesia’s main island of Java, visiting two of the foremost religious sites in the region, the hindu temple complex of Prambaran and the Buddhist temples at Borobudur.
The final days of your journey will take place in Bali, an island that despite its small size, is world famous for its almost heavenly beauty, tranquil culture and the sense of harmony that pervades the entire island. Here your stay will be divided into two parts: Starting in the island’s interior, nestled amongst lush green forested hills, you’ll explore the island’s most important religious temples, as well as catching some of the most breathtaking views from anywhere in the country. And finally, you’ll head to the bucolic coast, to unwind in luxury for the last few days before your flight home.
Offering an unrivalled mix of perfect beaches, pristine forests, bustling metropolis and diverse religious architecture, Indonesia is an experience unlike any other in South-East Asia.
