Zambia
Zambia remains one of the least known, but most surprising destinations to go on Safari. Perhaps due to a lack of publicity, Zambia is unknown to most, but offers a staggering diversity of wildlife and habitats to discover, making it the perfect destination for a short safari.
A destination to be discovered
Directly from Lusaka airport, we’ll fly to South Luangwa National Park, where in addition to lions, buffalo, antelope, giraffes, zebras and leopards you’ll also be able to spot African wild dogs. The park is also a refuge for birdlife, making it a paradise for bird watchers, with over 400 different species.
With a brief change of flight in the capital, we’ll head to Kafue National park, where we’ll head out onto the Busanga plains. Here, from August to October, you’ll have the opportunity to take a hot air balloon ride, offering an unparalleled view of the countryside below, with its herds of roan antelope, puku, gnu, zebra and buffalo, and their corresponding cortege of lions, cheetah and African wild dogs.
From here we’ll fly to Livingstone, heading overland to a campsite close to the Victoria Falls, where this short but rounded safari comes to an end.
