African Adventure is a one of a kind safari, where you’ll discover the continent’s wildest and most naturally beautiful areas. Flying between the countries of Tanzania, Rwanda, Botswana and Zambia and taking in a number of habitats and ecosystems, this is an African experience like no other.
A one of a kind journey across the continent
In northern Tanzania, we’ll visit the Ngorongoro Crater National Park – a natural refuge in the world’s largest non-active volcanic caldera that’s home to a staggering array of large mammals and other fauna – before heading to the rolling plains of the Serengeti to witness one of the world’s great natural events; the great migration.
From the plains, we’ll take to the forested slopes of Rwanda, to visit some of the last remaining communities of mountain gorillas in the wild. Landing in the capital, Kigali, we’ll head inland to the gentle hills of Volcanoes National Park, where after trekking into their forest home, you’ll be able to observe and photograph these magnificent primates from up to 5 meters away.
Our next destination sees us fly by light aircraft to the south of the continent and the Okavango Delta. Landing on a small airstrip, right on one of the many small islands that make up this wetland habitat, you’ll be situated in the heart of what is one of Africa’s last true remaining wildernesses. After discovering the birds and wildlife of the area, we’ll travel to Linyati Private Reserve, which, thanks to its unique landscape is a sanctuary for some of the continent’s most emblematic animals, and an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Our adventure ends on a literal high note. Flying first to Livingstone in Zambia, your first stop will be a luxury campsite on the banks of the Zambezi river, for some rest and relaxation. Over the following days, you’ll visit the magnificent natural spectacle of Victoria Falls, as well as taking a boat up river, to, weather permitting, witness one of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere in the world. An unforgettable end, to an experience you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
